FAQ

Q1 - How do I adjust the tension on the swivel? It is too tight. I cannot seem to be able to get a socket over the nut?
A1 - You don't want to loosen it. Once you get the screen mounted, it's easier to turn. You'll be able to turn it enough to install it with the tension it has out of the box.

Q2 - Anyone have the problem where heat loosens it? It was tight until I parked the car in the sun and when i got back the swivel got super loose?
A2 - No problem with my swivel mount that was install a year ago even with the hot summer but the installation was made by my professional Tesla mechanic that perhaps the reason your mount have a problem.

Q3 - If I put this, it will affect Tesla warranty with electric components?
A3 - It is mechanical modification, no electrical or electronic works to be done.

Q4 - Does this make the screen set out further from the dash? Is the height the same as stock? If you don't swivel it, would it be in the same place?
A4 - It does not sit further from the dash, but does sit about 1.5 inches lower and the swivel is very stiff and will stay in place wherever you put it.
